Sijitha Niran Samarawickrama tops Grade 5 scholarship exam

Sijitha Niran Samarawickrama from Methodist School,  Matara topped the Grade 5 scholarship exam with 196 marks.

The cut off mark was set at  159 in the Colombo, Kalutara, Gampaha, Galle, Kandy, Matara, and Matale districts.

Ruwanya Gunesekara of Kuliyapitiya Assedduma Subarathi School and K. Abisigan of Rambukulam MV Vavuniya came in second place, with 195 marks.

Nine students have reportedly tied in 3rd place, with 194 marks.

The Department of Examinations released the Grade 5 Scholarship Exam results yesterday (4).

Results can be viewed on to the official website: www.doenets.lk.

Applications for re-correction will be accepted till November 4, the website said. 

Applications must be sent by the school principal.
