The Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Ltd., also referred to as ‘Lake House’, has announced a Voluntary Resignation Scheme (VRS) for its permanent employees.
The management at ANCL, in a statement this morning, said the new VRS scheme would ensure the financial sustainability of the company, allowing it to implement a comprehensive modernization plan for Lake House operations.
The management also added that it had decided to introduce the scheme as the company’s salary bill had amounted to over 50% of its revenue.
The company said those who applied for the VRS scheme would receive a highly attractive package. Employees can apply for the scheme from October 05 onward, until October 18.
