Fine, RI for errant traders

Three grocery owners who were found guilty of selling expired and rotten food items to the consumers in the area were fined Rs.10,000 each and six-month rigorous imprisonment(RI) jail term suspended for ten years by the Maho Magistrate.

They were netted by officials of the Maho MOH office in Kurunegala during the sudden raids they carried out.

Administrative PHI I.M.J.K.Bandara under the guidance of Maho MOH Dr O.A.J.D. Sarathchandra took into custody the suspects and prosecuted.
