Fourteenth edition of Hotel Show Colombo concludes

The 14th edition of Hotel Show Colombo 2019, one of the best-recognized industry expos, was officially launched at the BMICH from November 12 to 14.

Chief Guest was Minister of Tourism, Wildlife and Christian Religious Affairs John Amaratunga and the Guest of Honour was Dillip Rajakarier, Chief Executive Officer, Minor Hotels and COO, Minor International. Organized by Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association (CHSGA), together with event partner CDC Events and supported by its sponsors, Government and Private sector establishments.

The expo featured products, services, latest innovations, seminars with key note speakers, knowledge sharing, discussions on forecasting trends and celebrating the industry’s latest advancements over the three days.

The Concurrent Events which were spread out within the three days took centre stage with three main competitions; National Barista Championship, National Room Stylist Challenge and Bar Champs by Pernod Ricard. In addition, there was the Bocuse ‘d Or Sri Lanka. The Hotel Show Master Class was another eagerly awaited feature of the event with exciting live sessions. Ceylon Tea Masters Cup was completed prior to the expo.

For several years, the Hotel Show Colombo has been driving and inspiring change in the industry.

The largest and most influential hospitality exhibition in the region was the essential meeting place for General Managers, Hoteliers, Interior Designers, F&B Managers, Front Office Personnel, Housekeepers looking to access the products, information and inspiration to drive the industry forward.
