ACJU requests to temporarily stop prayers

The All Ceylon Jamiyyathul Ulema in a communique has called on muslims to refrain from hosting the Friday Jummah prayers and the daily five times prayer in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19.

In a tweet posted today, ACJU requested the muslim community to temporarily stop Jummah and the five congregational prayers and all forms of public gatherings at mosques
