The departure terminal of the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) has been re-opened for five visitors accompanying one passenger from yesterday, Airport and Aviation Services, Chairman Major General (Retd) G.A. Chandrasiri said.
Accordingly, five guests are allowed to enter the departure terminal with a passenger carrying a valid air ticket. Earlier, only three guests were allowed to enter the departure terminal with a passenger.
Guests entering the terminal must wear a face mask and strictly follow all health and security guidelines. Guests who arrive at the BIA must purchase a ticket worth Rs. 300 to enter the departure terminal of the airport.

The Chairman of Airport and Aviation Services Retired Major General G. A. Chandrasiri said that five visitors per passenger are allowed to accompany into the departure terminal of the Bandaranaike International Airport.
