Eastern Province Governor Anuradha Yahampath instructed the Security Forces to impose travel restrictions between districts in the Eastern Province to control the COVID spread.
He called on the Security Forces to close shopping malls in the Province after 6 pm and prevent people from entering the city after 6 pm for reasons other than essential needs.
The Governor also directed the Security Forces to restrict the unwanted movement of people between the district boundaries.
