Weddings limited to 50 guests

The number of guests for a wedding has been further revised.

Only 50 guests are allowed for a wedding irrespective of the hall seating capacity with effect from midnight today, said the head of National Operation Centre for Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak, Army Commander General Shavendra Silva

And the Inter-provincial travel restriction strictly remains except for those who travel for official duties, he further said.

The decision was taken during discussions held to review the current COVID situation in the country.
