The Nintavur Ayurverdic Research Hospitals inaugurated the distributions of Suwatharanee, packs of Ayurveda drugs on the advice of Indigenous Medicine, Rural and Ayurveda Hospital Development and Community Health State Minister Sisira Jayakody to those who are on quarantine at their houses in the Ampara District.
A ceremony in this regard was held at the Deegawapiya Parivaar Chaitya under the patronage of Chief Incumbent of the Parivaar Chaiytya Ven. Bhodhiwela Channanada Thera along with Brigade Commander 241 Infantry Brigade Colonel A.M.C.Abeykone.
Hospital Director Dr. K.L.M. Nakfer said that Ayurveda is playing an important role along with the Department of Health in combating COVID 19.
“Suwadaranee medicinal drink will be distributed, giving priority to the handicapped and physically retarded. They are providing with packs comprising five medicinal herbs,” he said.
Brigade Commander Colonel A.M.C.Tennakone handed over the Suwatharanee packs to Ven. Bhodhiwela Channanada Thera, inaugurating the distribution.
