Advisory for Strong Winds, Rough seas and High waves issued

The Natural Hazards Early Warning Centre today issued an advisory for Strong Winds, Rough seas and High waves

According to the aincreased"wind speed can be increased up to (60-70) kmph in the sea area extending from Beruwala to Pottuvil via Galle and Hambantota. The sea area extending from Beruwala to Pottuvil via Galle and Hambantota will be very rough at times."

Naval and fishing communities and those who are living in coastal areas are requested to be vigilant in this regards.
