Sadeera and Kamil take batting honours at drawn game

Opener Kamil Mishara ( 98) and Skipper Sadeera Samarawickrama (151n.o) made match saving third wicket stand of 143 runs as Sri Lanka' A 'scored 317 for six wickets at close in their four day game against Pakistan' A 'which ended in a draw at Pallekele International cricket stadium yesterday .

After being bundled out for 67 in reply to the 394 made by the Pakistan' A 'in their first innings Sri Lankan 'A' batters made much better batting display to build up their second innings before bad light stopped play before schedule time. The-20-year old left hander Mishara and Samarawickrama made fighting innings to avoid the certain defeat and credit shout go to this pair for their effort. Mishara was unfortunately missed his well deserved century second time in this series as he departed at 98 runs in 168 balls after hitting 15 boundaries. He missed his century at the pervious game as well.

Skipper Samarawickrama the 26-year-old right hander used his experience scored an unbeaten 151 with 26 fours and a six in 223 balls also added 68 runs six wicket stand with Suminda Lakshan who scored 25 with four fours. The two four day match series ended with a no decision and both teams back to Dambulla yesterday for their three ODI series which commences on November 10.
