Colombo-Kandy train services resume

Train services between Colombo Fort and Kandy resumed with effect from yesterday following the restoration of the washed-away rail track near the Kadigamuwa and Balana stations.

“Accordingly, two Intercity Express trains and three express trains will be running to and from Kandy daily,” the Railway Department said.
