Blessings in life

An all night Pirith Ceremony and alms giving was held on January 6 and 7 2022 to mark the Decennial Anniversary of York International School, Kadawatha. The two day ceremony was initiated by the school Principal, Wathsala Senanayake, under the guidance of Chief Executive Officer, Rohan Lalith Perera, in light of the school's milestone anniversary. The Chairman, Rohan Perera, along with directors Deshan Perera and Roshane Perera spearheaded the event.

York International School, Kadawatha, was founded on January 6, 2012, with 200 students and 25 academic staff and non academic staff. It was conceptualised and guided by its Chairman, Rohan Perera, to establish quality and affordable education in the suburban area of Kadawatha.

The school boasts of exponential growth since its inception and focuses on gifting students armed with a holistic educational experience, to the society. The Principal of the school, Wathsala Senanayake, and the teachers keep the school's new students engaged and involved by offering a carefully planned, unique learning experience.

The two day ceremony was a highlight of school's continual efforts to prioritise the school community and was especially held to invoke blessings on the students and their families, the school's future endeavours as well as the country while it faces and continues to battle the Covid pandemic.

The school staff, students and parents participated in this event and the Chief Executive Officer of York Graduate Campus, Rohan Lalith Perera and Principal of York International School Wattala, Srinali Perera, graced the occasion.
