Non-recipients will receive with February salary - Ministry Secretary

Education Ministry Secretary Prof. Kapila Perera informed principals that teachers who have not received Rs. 5,000 allowance along with their January salary would receive it with their next month (February) salary.

Some government school teachers in the North Central, Eastern and Northern Provinces have not received the allowance this month.

Relevant Provincial Council authorities have already been informed this issue. These teachers will be paid the due allowance for both January and February with their February salary, the Secretary has informed in a circular.
