A religious event was held at the Thambattai Swami Nithiyananda Religious Home with the participation of Hindu and Buddhist disciples and devotees recently.
It was organised by the devotees of Swami Srimath Nithiyananda Sarasathi Maharajji and Ven. Uduvanaratnapala Nayake Thera. They have been maintaining a very close relationship between these two religions since 1975.
Ven. Dr. Medagoda Sumaya Dissanayake Thera delivered a special sermon and Sri Math Nithiyanada Saraswathi made the welcome address. Handing the Album with pictures depicting the 45 years’ of relationship of the two religions to Ven. Uduvanaratnapala Nayake Thera by Samoogajothi S. Senthoorarasa and handing laptop over to Saraswathui Maharaaj by Srimath Nitiyananda and a sapling planting event were the highlights of the ceremony.
