Victoria generating electricity to full capacity

The Victoria Hydro Power Plant generated electricity worth Rs. 16,241 million last year,

Wasantha Ehelapitiya, engineer in charge of the Victoria Reservoir said.

He said 977 gigawatts had been added to the national grid by the Victoria Hydro Power Plant in 2021 and 2392 million cubic meters had been used for it. He added that the Victoria Power Plant is generating electricity at maximum capacity to provide electricity to the people without any power cuts due to the current power crisis in the country.
