Air Force wins Lifesaving titles

Sri Lanka Air Force clinched the overall titles (men and women) at the 70th National Lifesaving Championship 2021/2022 organized by the Sri Lanka Lifesaving Association and worked off at the University of Sri Jayewardenapura Swimming Pool Complex and Lifesaving Headquarters, Mount Lavinia on June 3 and 4, 2022.

The SLAF lifesavers were able to smoothly sail through events against other competitors in the tournament and the men’s team secured one gold, six silver and five bronze medals while women’s team obtained eight gold and eight silver medals.

Also the SLAF men’s ‘B’ team secured the overall 1st Runner-Up while Civil Security Department became the champion of men’s Masters’ event.
