All-rounder Sadisha Rajapaksa had fine figures of 6/34 while Uvindu Weerasekara made a fighting knock of 83 as Royal were in a commanding position over Nalanda College after the first day's play in their under 19 inter-school cricket match at Campbell Place, yesterday.

Nalanda were bowled out for 92 runs in their first innings while Royal made 162.
