Suspect held for abuse of foreign national

A suspect who allegedly sexually abused a Russian woman was arrested by the Kalutara Police yesterday.

The 36-year-old Russian woman had made a complaint to the Kalutara Police. She added that she faced this situation while doing her routine physical exercise at the beach.

The police arrested a 28-year-old married person in this connection who was to be produced before the Magistrate yesterday.
