Peradeniya University temporarily closed

All academic activities and examinations at the University of Peradeniya have been temporarily cancelled, while the student hostels too have closed.

Peradeniya University Vice Chancellor Prof. M.D. Lamawansa made this announcement in view of the prevailing situation in the country.

This was informed by a letter issued by the Vice Chancellor on June 17.

The Vice Chancellor has further stated that the students in the hostels too should leave immediately.
