Fuel crisis caused foreigner to miss flight home

A Russian national who was to return home on Monday missed his flight as he could not get fuel from a filling station due to the objection of the people in the queue.

It was reported that he had come to the petrol shed to collect fuel in cans to travel to Katunayake International Airport, but the protestors objected and instructed him to be in the queue. Hence he missed his flight.
