Two suspects arrested for slaughtering ox

Minuwangoda Police arrested two suspects for killing an ox for meat yesterday (12).

Police arrested the two suspects and seized the meat from a house in Galoluwa, Minuwangoda. The two suspects were produced before the Minuwangoda Magistrate T. Thenabandu.

The suspects - Mohomed Bathuideen and Mohamed Parsan, pleaded guilty and were released on Rs. 100,000 bail. The Court ordered to destroy the flesh. Minuwangoda Police are investigating.
