Boli Lions team, Sainthamaruthu beat Maliga United team, Sainthamaruthu by 10 runs in the final to emerge champions and bagged the "FSK Miandad Premier League -2022 Season-II” champion trophy in the limited over hardball cricket tournament conducted by Miandad Sports Club, Sainthamaruthu at the Sainthamaruthu Public Play Grounds recently.
This inter club tournament was organized by the Miandad Sports Club president A.Faiz to popularize hardball cricket among the clubs. The FSK Miandad Premier League Tournament President A.A.Haleem presided over the tournament while Shantham Challengers, Maruthoor Warriors, Maliga United and Boli Lions teams from the Sainthamaruthu area participated. Boli Lions team batting first scored 75 runs for the loss of two wickets in their allocated 08 overs. Maliga United team in reply scored 65 runs for loss of three wickets in their allocated 8 over’s.
N.L.M.Zahir who represented the Boli Lions Team was adjudged the Man of the Match and Man of the Series award was secured by S.L.Manas of Maruthoor Warriors Team. The Best Batsman award was won by A.H.M.Murshid of Shantham Challengers Team.
