WFP reveal about the food insecurity in SL

The United Nations World Food Program (WFP) says that three out of ten Sri Lankans face food insecurity.
 

The Secretary of the Food Program of the United Nations has indicated in a statement that pregnant and lactating women have been severely affected by the worst economic crisis Sri Lanka has faced.
The United Nations World Food Program indicates that nearly 6.3 million people are food insecure and in need of assistance, and nearly 1.5 million people are in need of emergency food assistance.

The World Food Program also plans to support existing social safety net programs to reach one million children through the National School Meals Program
