Sri Sumangala College Hikkaduwa entered to the final of the Under 15 division 2 inter schools cricket tournament conducted by Sri Lanka Schools Cricket Association with the sponsorship of Sri Lanka Cricket at Bandaragama esplanade yesterday.
Semi Semi-final match against Royal College Colombo ‘B’ ended with no result due to heavy rain. Sri Sumangala College won the toss and elected to bat first. They scored 33 runs for 1 wicket in 17 overs. Match abandoned due to rain. Sri Sumangala College leading total average points so far in the quarter final round.
Sri Sumangala College Hikkaduwa advanced to the second round as champion of their group in the first round. Sri Sumangala College Hikkaduwa beat Wadduwa Central College in the second round. Sri Sumangala College Hikkaduwa beat Sripalee College Horana in the pre quarter final round.
