The Holy Eucharistic Service of bestowing priestly mandates on 11 New Deacon Brothers who will join the priestly service of the Colombo Archdiocese will be held at 9 a.m. today (10) at St. Lucia Cathedral, Kotahena.
In this Special Eucharistic service presided over by His Eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith, Archbishop of Colombo, Charles Rajeev Willows (Wellaweediya), Ashanta Nirman Fernando (Wawela), Osman Susantha Rodrigo (Welihena), Ranjith Shashendra de Soysa (Ragama), Dushantha Chanaka Pinto (Sedawatta), Shenal Frank Perera (Tudella), Isuru Madhushan Suaris (Kadolkale), Krimantha Samapriya Fernando (Kattuwa), Dylan Salika Perera (Udammta), Milan Priyadarshana Fernando (Bandarawatta) and Namal Nisshanka Thuram (Kandavala) will receive 11 novice priest vows.
Auxiliary Bishops of the Archdiocese, parish priests, parents of novice priests and relatives are going to participate in this Special Eucharistic service.
