Sadeesh becomes first centurion in U-19 L/O Tourney

Sadeesh Jayawardena of St. Joseph's College Colombo, yesterday became the first centurion in the Under 19 Schools Limited Overs Cricket tournament.

Sadeesha scored an unbeaten 107 runs in 118 deliveries with 11 boundaries and 2 sixes against Mahanama College Colombo. Defending champs St. Joseph’s College beat Mahanama College Colombo by 5 wickets.

Ananda Colombo, St. Servatius Matara, St. Sebastian’s Moratuwa, Richmond Galle, and Kingswood Kandy, and St. Benedict’s College won their matches.
