Moulood recital on October 1

Subhana Moulood Majlis, UK in Slough, has completed a decade of regular recital of Subhana Moulood, a widely known Ode to the Prophet of Islam (OWBP) the world over, but especially among the Asian Muslims in India, Sri Lanka and beyond, will be held on October 1.

The Majlis (forum) is widely patronised and attended by Sri Lankan Muslims in Berkshire and London. The annual grand event usually takes place every year in the Rabiul Awwal, the third month of the Islamic calendar, in which the Prophet was born.

The organisers will celebrate the event at the beginning of the Rabiul Awwal, including the publication of a commemorative souvenir, children’s events and special prayers for the world afflicted with various calamities and bloodshed and for peace and harmony among all communities. A feast will also be held after the event.
