Limit number of Ministers and State Ministers - Sajith

Opposition Leader and Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Leader Sajith Premadasa said the number of Ministers and State Ministers should be limited to 30.

He said 15 Ministers and 15 State Ministers were enough to carry out ministerial related duties. Premadasa said the SJB will never approve measures to increase the number of ministers at a time when the country’s economy was facing an unprecedented crisis. He was addressing the Kuliyapitiya SJB Bala Mandala meeting.
