NSB draft presented to Minister

The expert committee appointed to draft the National Security Bill (NSB) replacing the Prevention of Terrorism Act (PTA) handed over the Bill they drafted to Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms Minister Wijeyadasa Rajapakshe yesterday.

Additional Solicitor General Nerin Pulle, PC and Nalinda Indatissa, PC co-chaired the committee.

Attorney General Sanjay Rajaratnam, Ministry Secretary Wasantha Perera, Additional Legal Draftsman D. D. Kulasena and a group of senior officers from the Ministry were present.
