The producers of the stage drama “Sakunthalaya” has postponed the staging of the drama indefinitely after a bag containing the actors and actresses’ clothes and accessories was stolen at a theatre in Borella yesterday. The drama was to be staged at the theatre yesterday evening.
However, the bag had been stolen on Sunday evening during the showing of another stage drama at the same theatre.
A complaint has been made to the Borella Police in this regard. When examining the security camera footage, it has been seen that a person dressed in a pink vest dragging the bag containing the theatre clothes and theater equipment along the floor.
Security camera footage showed him walking towards the Borella Serpentine apartment complex along Fairfield Park Road.
The Police are investigating to arrest the suspect to recover the stolen items.
