Alleged Born Again influence on SL’s cricket team: Report forwarded to AG

The report submitted by the five-member Committee which probed several allegations linked to the Sri Lankan cricket team that toured Australia for the T20 World Cup and also the alleged influence exerted by the Born Again sect on affairs related to cricket has been forwarded to the   Attorney General. According to the instructions of the Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, the Ministry Secretary had forwarded the report to the Attorney General yesterday (16) to get the necessary recommendations regarding the report.

The Ministry hopes to take further steps based on the advice and recommendations received.
