Rosy contests from UNP for CMC

 Colombo Mayoress Rosy Senanayake said that she will contest from the United National Party (UNP) for the Colombo Municipality at the Local Government Elections.

 The Mayoress was responding to an inquiry by the Dinamina Newspaper when she was preparing to leave after CMC Permanent Committee Meeting on Finance.  She said that her party was the UNP and that she will never leave it and that she will dedicate herself and work towards the improvement of the party.

 At the time this statement was made by Mayoress Rosy Senanayake, Mahinda Kahandagama and Pradeep Jayawardena, of the Sri Lanka Peoples’ Party, Municipal Councillors, Municipal Treasurer Shiroma Nandani and Municipal Special Financial Agent K.T. Chitrapala were present.
