Thief robs two laptops from Palmyrah Board

A person broke into the office of the Palmyrah Development Board in Wellawatte and stole two laptops worth about Rs.700,000, then entered an electronic goods sales showroom near the building and left the two stolen laptops  there and stole two brand new laptops and four mobile phones from the showroom. Police officers found that the thief who had entered through the roof of the electronic goods showroom left the two old laptops stolen from the Palmyrah Development Board and stole the two new laptops and mobile phones.

Wellawatte Police stated that the security cameras had recorded the theft and investigations are underway to arrest the suspect.
