Customs officers at Central Mail Exchange detect narcotic drugs worth Rs.13 million

Sri Lanka Customs officers at the Central Mail Exchange recovered narcotic drugs worth Rs.13 million in 15 parcels sent to false addresses in Colombo, Panadura, Boralesgamuwa, Padukka and Piliyandala from several foreign countries.

Customs Media Spokesman Sudatta Silva disclosed that there were 207 Methamphetamine pills and 750 gram of Kush.

According to him, these parcels had arrived in the country from Germany, England, Canada and Spain. The drug stock was to be handed over to the Police Narcotic Bureau for further investigations.
