Husband kills wife, surrenders

Aranayake Police said that a husband had killed his wife after hitting her on the head with a wooden pole.

The deceased is a 23-year-old mother of one named Mohottalage Sumudu Dilshani Ranasinghe, a resident of Millangoda, Aranayaka. The husband had reportedly attacked  his wife following an argument.Police said the husband after the murder had surrendered to the police.The suspect is to be produced in court.
