Missing boy’s body found in Neluwa Canal

The body of a two-year-old boy who was reported missing since Saturday was found in a canal yesterday.

The police said it appears the boy had drowned.  

The boy from Kalutara had gone to Neluwa with his parents to a relative’s house. The boy had gone out of the house unnoticed and had drowned in the canal near the relative’s house in Neluwa, police said.
