Eastern Rider’s limited over cricket champs

Eastern Rider’s Sports Club, Pottuvil beat Won rose Sports Club, Pottuvil in the final to emerge champions and bagged the ‘SNA Memorial Trophy-2023’ in the eight-a- side limited 5 over’s flood-lit cricket tournament conducted by Mihraj Sports Club, Pottuvil at the Pottuvil Jalaldeen Square play grounds recently.

Pottuvil Mihraj SC organized the tournament and 40 prominent cricket teams from the area took part.

Eastern Rider’s Sports Club, Pottuvil achieved the target of 33 runs in the 3.5 overs losing one wicket and became the champion. Kiyas of Won rose SC was adjudged the Man of the Series.

Champion team received Rs.50,000 cash prize along with trophies and medals. Club officials, players and many others were present at the award ceremony.
