Power Star Sports Club, Oluvil became champions and the Sinna Palamunai Super Orchid Sports Club team emerged runner-up in the eight-a-side limited 5 over’s softball cricket tournament conducted by Al-Aslam Youth Club, Palamunai at the Al-Hickma Vidyalaya Play grounds, Sinna Palamunai recently.
Al-Aslam Youth Club, Palamunai has organized the tournament successfully. The tournament saw a record number of under -21 teams of the prominent SC from the area participating.
Oluvil Power Star Sports Club and Sinna Palamunai Super Orchid Sports Club teams qualified for the final. All participated very keenly and enthusiastically Al-Aslam Youth Club, Palamunai, Oluvil Power Star Sports Club and Sinna Palamunai Super Orchid Sports Club officials, prominent people of the area, senior sports players and many others were all participated as the guests and awarded the trophies to winning teams and players.
