Legal action against eight OL cheats

Examination Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara said that the Examinations Department has taken action to enforce the law against eight candidates who cheated in the GCE Ordinary Level examination yesterday (6) while answering the mathematics question paper. He declared that strict legal measures will be taken against these frauds under the Examination Act and Criminal Law.

Three cases of examination cheating were reported yesterday (6) from the Bibila Wellassa National School, Henegama Maha Vidyalaya and Seeduwa Vidyalaya.
