Job opportunities in Japan for Rajarata youth

The National Youth Service Council has launched a programme to encourage educated youth in the Anuradhapura District to get jobs in Japan.

A special awareness programme was held at the Anuradhapura National Youth Service Council for 500 youth in this regard recently.

National Youth Service Council North Central Province Director M.B.Gunasena said that their aim is to protect youth from seeking jobs in Japan and other countries through illegal foreign employment agents. He added that on the instruction of Minister Roshan Ranasinghe, the youth in the Province will be educated how to find honest Japanese delegates for securing jobs in Japan.

The representative of Gaia International Center CEO Kasuda Yuri participated in the awareness programme. He emphasized that Sri Lankan educated youth possess a thorough knowledge in Japanese language and training. Head of Sushi Chain hotel in Japan Akhitho said that well-disciplined well-trained youth armed with Japanese language will not miss these job opportunities in Japan.

Event Chief Guest Anuradhapura Additional Government Agent Sandya Abeysekara said that a large number of youth in the district are seeking jobs in Japan.
