Wrong economic principles ruined country - NPP

National People’s Power (NPP) MP Vijitha Herath yesterday said that the country fallen into the quagmire of bankruptcy

due to the wrong economic principles adopted by the successive governments in the country.

Speaking at a press conference at the JVP headquarters, MP Herath said that the poor people of the country have become the victims of the bankruptcy of the country which is a result of the wrong decisions taken by successive governments.“The number of poor people are on the increase and this is unprecedented situation in the country,” he said. Herath added that every successive government in the country made the poor people as their vote base instead of getting them out of poverty.
