Chairman of the Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI) Nushad Perera has resigned.
He is resigning from his position to rejoin the private sector, Nushad Perera said in a statement.

Nushad resigns as SLSI Chairman
Sri Lanka Standards Institution (SLSI) Chairman Nushad Perera announced his resignation from his position to rejoin the private sector where he showed his fiat as a marketer.
Perera was first appointed Chairman of Lanka Sathosa and Cooperative Wholesale Establishment (CWE) in 2020. He later stepped down from Lak Sathosa and CWE to jon the SLSI as its Chairman.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (FCIM),Perera has been namd ‘CIM Marketer of the Year’ in 2001 and awarded the coveted ‘Global Brand Leadership Award’ at the Asia Brand Congress in 2007.
