Former President visits NHSL to see Anthony

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday arrived at the Colombo National Hospital to inquire into the health of veteran actor Jackson Anthony who is receiving treatment at the hospital following an accident that took place in Anuradhapura. Anthony and two others who were seriously injured when his vehicle crashed in to a wild elephant in Thalawa.

They were admitted to the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital. 

Anthony was brought to the Colombo National Hospital for an urgent surgery.   

Anthony’s brother Saman Anthony also underwent surgery at the Anuradhapura Teaching Hospital following the accident.
