The Marksmen Sports Club, Addalaichenai held its Annual General Meeting and award ceremony at the Addalaichenai Beach Guest House recently. The event was organized by the Marksmen Sports Club led by its last year President Risath A. Cader under the guidance and supervision of the Addalaichenai Sports Officer M.H.M. Aswath.
Guest at the ceremony distributed awards to the player’s who excelled in their respective sports.
Those who excelled in the field of education and sports at National, Province, District and Divisional levels received their medals and awards. Winners were congratulated and honoured by the Guests on this occasion. Key club officials and Athletes who brought honour to Addalaichenai Marks Men Sports Club and their coaches were also felicitated with memento at the ceremony.
The Addalaichenai Sport Officer M.H.M.Aswath, Grama Niladhari Aslam Shaja, K.A.Hameed, A.C.Arsath, prominent people of the area, Marks Men Sports Club officials and players participated at the event.
At the meeting, new office bearers for 2023/24 of the Marksmen sports Club were elected.
Risath A. Cader was re-elected as the new President, R.M. Nowshad as new Secretary and M. Minhaj as Treasurer. Vice President: A.C. Raheem, Assistant Secretary: I.M. Wajith and Auditor: M.L. Siyath.
Committee members were also were selected at the event.
The newly elected committee approved the AGM reports and resolutions.
At the meeting a details discussion took place on the past & present and future activities of the Marks Men SC.
