Ministry sets June 12 deadline for transferred teachers

The Education Ministry informs that the national school teachers who have been transferred in 2022 must report to the new workplace by June 12.

Accordingly, the Ministry letter says that all teachers who have completed their due service period on 31/12/2021 and have received teacher transfer letters should report to the workplace by June 12, 2023.

If a teacher wishes to file an appeal, the principal may forward the appeal to the Teacher Transfer Division after reporting for duty. The Ministry says that it is not necessary to visit the Teacher Transfer Division of the Education Ministry in person. Decisions regarding the appeals will be notified promptly, the Education Ministry said.
