Desist from protests till OLs finish - Exams Chief

Examination Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara said yesterday (6) that the General Certificate of Education Ordinary Level Examination will end tomorrow (8) and all political parties and citizens of the country are requested not to hold agitations and demonstrations to disturb the candidates till the end of the examination.

He also stated that requests have been made by the media from time to time in this regard. He said that due to the rain, there were obstacles for the children to go to the examination centers in some areas and by providing solutions to those obstacles, the children were given an opportunity to write the exam.
