Thirty one Dengue deaths reported this year

Approximately 31 people have died due to Dengue during the year from January to date.

The Dengue Control Unit of the Ministry of Health stated that 439 dengue cases have been diagnosed all over the island in the last two days alone.

According to the Dengue Control Unit, 49,759 dengue cases have been identified in the country this year, of which 24,837 have been identified in the Western Province.

The Dengue Control Unit further stated that 61 MOH Divisions across the island have been identified as high dengue risk zones.
