St. Peter’s College, Colombo 4 on June 30, 2023 marked the closing ceremony of its 100th anniversary since its establishment in 1922. St. Peter’s College although initially started off as a branch of St. Joseph’s College, Maradana, is now a thriving institution of its own. With state of the art facilities, and quality education this St Peter’s college has truly grown to be an institution that its founder Rev. Fr. Maurice Le Goc would be proud of.
The college as one Peterite family celebrated this historic milestone by engaging in massive scale charity programmes and updating the facilities already available to the students as well as adding a few new ones.
The closing ceremony of the Centenary year was celebrated on June 30, 2023 at the College premises under patronage of Fr.Rector Rohitha Rodrigo.
Jubilee prayers and paying homage to the statue of St.Peter were conducted by His Eminence Archbishop of Colombo Malcom Cardinal Ranjith in the presence of past Rectors, teachers and old boys.
