The Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) arrested a suspect with 75 g of heroin, a foreign made firearm and six bullets in Kanduboda on Wednesday evening on a tip off.
The suspect, Pradeep Saliya, is a resident of Egoda Pelahela,
The PNB has obtained an order to detain the suspect for seven days after he was produced before the Pugoda Magistrate on Thursday.
Investigations are continuing.
